Cosmetic Packaging Documents

Cosmetic packaging documents are the individual technical and commercial records used to verify a specific component or supplier claim. Common examples include a Technical Data Sheet describing dimensions, materials and capacity; a Safety Data Sheet addressing chemical hazards; a Certificate of Analysis reporting defined batch results; supplier declarations; certificates; and laboratory test reports. Each document answers a different question and applies only to the exact component, material, decoration and scope identified. Buyers should confirm issue date, revision, part number, test method and whether the evidence covers the commercial item being purchased. A document for one bottle or closure should not be assumed to cover a different pump, coating, gasket or finished assembly.
