Perfume Packaging Guide: How to Choose a Complete Fragrance Package
Choose the perfume bottle, neck system, sprayer, collar, cap and decoration as one packaging system rather than as separate parts.
Start with the intended bottle direction and brand concept, then coordinate the dispensing components, decoration, sample approval and the appropriate standard or custom development path.

BUILD YOUR PERFUME PACKAGE
Start With the Decisions That Shape the Complete Package
A perfume package is selected through a sequence of connected decisions. Use the steps below to move from bottle direction to an approved packaging system.
COMPLETE PERFUME PACKAGING SYSTEM
What Makes Up a Complete Perfume Package?
The bottle is only one part of the fragrance package. The final system may also include the neck interface, sprayer, collar, cap and selected decoration.

01
Bottle
Defines the main shape, proportions and visual direction.
02
Neck Interface
Determines the sprayer or closure direction and must be reviewed with the actual component.
03
Sprayer / Atomizer
Controls fragrance dispensing and must be matched to the bottle system.
04
Collar
Coordinates the transition between bottle, sprayer and cap where applicable.
05
Cap
Completes the closure appearance and should be reviewed on the assembled package.
06
Decoration
Builds color, finish, logo and brand identity on the selected package.
For detailed interface and dispensing selection, use the Cosmetic Bottle Closures & Dispensing Guide.
CHOOSE YOUR BOTTLE DIRECTION
Choose the Perfume Bottle Direction Before Refining Components
Bottle shape and packaging position establish the starting direction. Use the relevant family below, then move into the dedicated Guide when more detailed selection is required.

Round Perfume Bottles
A rounded bottle direction where proportion, sprayer, cap and decoration should be reviewed together.

Square Perfume Bottles
A structured bottle direction where proportions, edges, branding area and component coordination shape the final package.

Luxury Perfume Packaging
A premium packaging direction involving the complete bottle, components, decoration and brand presentation.

Refillable Perfume Packaging
A refillable direction only where the selected bottle and component system supports the intended refill structure.
SPRAYER & CLOSURE COORDINATION
The Neck, Sprayer, Collar and Cap Must Work as One System
Perfume components should be selected against the actual bottle interface and assembled package rather than by visual similarity alone.

01
Bottle Neck Direction
The bottle interface determines the appropriate sprayer or closure direction.
02
Sprayer / Atomizer
The dispensing component must be reviewed with the actual bottle and project requirements.
03
Collar Coordination
Where applicable, the collar should coordinate with the sprayer, bottle neck and cap.
04
Cap Fit & Appearance
The cap completes the package and should be reviewed on the assembled bottle.
Compatibility warning: A visually similar sprayer or cap should not be treated as automatically compatible with another perfume bottle.
BRAND EXPRESSION & DEVELOPMENT ROUTE
Decide What Needs to Change: Finish, Components or Bottle Structure
Choose the route that matches the actual project change. Detailed decoration and engineering decisions remain on their specialist Solution pages.
01
Start With an Existing Perfume Bottle
Use this route when the existing bottle structure already works.
- Bottle selection
- Sprayer and cap coordination
- Packaging set review
02
Customize the Visual Finish
Use this route when the bottle structure works but the brand needs visual customization.
- Color or frosting
- Printing or hot stamping
- Logo decoration
03
Develop a New Bottle Structure
Use this route when an existing bottle cannot meet the required structural concept.
- Shape direction
- Dimensions or capacity direction
- Structural design
SAMPLE & APPROVAL
Approve the Complete Perfume Package, Not Only the Bottle
Before production, the selected bottle, dispensing components and decoration should be reviewed as the applicable project package.

Confirm Bottle Direction
Agree the bottle family and visual direction to evaluate.
Confirm Sprayer, Collar & Cap
Review the actual components as an assembled system.
Review Decoration Sample
Check color, finish, logo and appearance on the selected package.
Review Complete Physical Assembly
Inspect bottle appearance, component coordination and dispensing direction.
Approve Production Reference
Use the agreed package specifications and applicable physical reference.
Review the Approved Package Reference
Bottle appearance · assembled component fit · dispensing direction · cap and collar coordination · decoration appearance · applicable physical reference
Production should proceed from the approved package specifications and applicable physical sample references.
